My journey with Yoga began in 1985, as a high school student in Malavalli, Mandya. During morning jogs near Shanthi College, I noticed a man practicing what looked like a circus act—little did I know, it was Yoga. Drawn by curiosity, I started following him.
That man was Renuka Prasadji, a humble bank clerk with a mission to spread Yoga in rural villages. He sought volunteers to train and perform public demonstrations, and I was fortunate to be one of them. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong passion.
Though not a certified trainer, I’ve practiced Yoga for over 40 years and continue to experience its immense benefits. I always encourage my friends, family, and team to adopt a lifestyle rooted in wellness, positivity, and balance.
Yoga has been gaining popularity in the last 5 to 10 years. Yoga is a practice that combines breathing, physical postures, and meditation to improve health and balance the mind and body.
The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit word "yuj" which means "to unite" or "to combine".
This blog is a humble attempt to share my personal journey and inspire others.
